And TODAY, DAY 12 I want to offer a Christmas Day Thanks to all of you, my readers, for your love and support. I started writing this blog about 3 & a half years ago…and it has been such a blessing to talk about life, ministry, faith, and family with you all. Last week MARKARONOWITZ.COM received its 25,000th HIT! So exciting!
One of the moments that I treasure the most in my life was a speech that was given by the best man at my wedding, my brother John! He stole a beautiful line from one of my favorite movies, “It’s a Wonderful Life!” He said, “if there is one thing that has been true of Mark and Becca as they have journeyed in their life, it is that every place they have been they have had great friends! So, everybody raise your glass with me! To my kid brother Mark, the richest man in town!” His speech continues to be a moment that I ponder, that I treasure, and that I re-live. And the words were so true! Becca and I have been so blessed by our friendships with you all & I consider it such a RICH BLESSING to call you a PART of our Journey! I prayed for all of you today as we celebrate the birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! This is such a special day as we remember how God sent his one and only son Jesus at Christmas, the beginning of the GREATEST LOVE STORY EVER TOLD! Remember today though, that Christmas is still upon us as we await the return of our Savior, who is preparing a place for us RIGHT NOW.
I fully understand that without readers a blog doesn’t do much good. I hope to continue to write as we begin 2011 and pray that “THE JOURNEY” continues to meet you where you are at in life and bless you. Everybody has a story. Every story can have an impact. Allow your story to live out loud for Jesus Christ this year. Be bold and share your faith with all of those around you. Life is too short to be afraid. The Lord is with you each and every day. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year from my family to yours! Talk to you soon!
