November to remember

The month of November kicked off in amazing fashion for me as I traveled to Indianapolis to spend a couple of days with my brother.  He took me to the Colts vs. Texans Monday Night Football game at Lucas Oil Stadium!  It was an early birthday present and definitely ranks up there as one of the most special and memorable gifts I’ve ever received.  The time we had together was PRICELESS.  Great food, great hotel, great fellowship, great game, and an awesome cold weather round of golf at a Pete Dye MASTERPIECE on Tuesday morning!  http://thefortgolfcourse.com/

Still to come this month is Thanksgiving in Texas at my parents house with all 3 of my brothers and sisters and their spouses!  All 10 of us together to give Thanks for the many blessings in our lives…especially the gift of FAMILY!  I truly believe that November is a month that we should cherish and to make unique to our walks with Jesus Christ.  It is so easy for the next 2 months to go through the motions with what we do every year instead of waking up and saying, “how can I live out my life’s PURPOSE for you Lord TODAY!?”  I have high hopes for what the next 2 months will offer…not because I have unhealthy expectations, but because I’m going to keep myself from putting my God in a box and pray for him to do the BIG THINGS in my heart that he is beyond capable of doing.  I pray the same for you.  Have a great day!

I was trying to be nice to my brother by leaving the score out.
      I shot 82, John shot 95.
