What an unbelieving world simply finds unbelievable!

            I have been transferring all the Christian CD’s here at the church to the new Youth Group I-POD that I purchased!  In the process I have stumbled upon some CD’s from my personal youth group days and have enjoyed listening to them immensley!  My personal favorite came from DC Talk’s Jesus Freak CD, which I believe is one of the most powerful CD’s that has ever hit the market!  I listened to “what if I stumble” from the CD this afternoon and was overcome by the emotion that came from the message it speaks.  The introduction to the song says this,

                         “The greatest single cause of atheism in the world today is Christians; who acknowledge Jesus with their lips, and deny Him by their lifestyle.  That is what an unbelieving world simply finds unbelievable!”

                In our Youth Group right now we are still talking about what it means to walk with Jesus 24/7/365!  Many of them claim the name of Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior when we are together.  What they do the rest of the time in their lives is between them and God!  I am still overcome by the challenge of living an authentic life in Christ before the world that watches me.  Please do a check on your life today to make sure that what people are seeing is Jesus and not your own selfish agenda.  It is so true that a fake Christian, somebody who doesn’t practice what they preach, is among the most un-attractive beings on earth!  If you claim the name than I celebrate with you!  Just make sure before you go head to pillow tonight that your lifestyle backs up your words!  Have a great night everyone!
